Supposedly Vick's hand is just bruised and not broken. :|
It's still swollen at this point so I'm still unsure if he'll A. play and B. how effective he will be.
Point is that at this rate he'll be in a body bag by the end of the season. Vick must absolutely drive Andy Reid insane.

Too bad those three Superbowl rings couldn't help the Giants get a stop on 3rd down during that 18 play drive last night.

Yeah. The Eagles suck this year, and now the starting QB is gone. That's why I roffled.

True.

Andy Reid is an idiot. He has one of the best running backs in the NFL and was missing his top two recievers. So what does he do with the lead in the 4th quarter? - throw the football. :dunce:

The defense could drop 11 men into deep coverage and Reid still wouldn't run.

Nice job Eagles. Keep this guy around. He is just money.

The guy is a knucklehead. He has been since playing at Cal. His probable first NFL TD was wiped away because he spiked the ball on the 1 yard line. :dunce:

I think this is the reason that the Eagles haven't renegotiated his contract. He makes huge mistakes and doesn't learn from them.

They should keep him and give him a nice bonus. That way the next few seasons will be full of laughs for us.

He'll be playing on Sundays somewhere next year. The Eagles might bring him back, he is a game changer, but the stupid mistakes are completely unnecessary.

It's not like he's a great RB who fumbles too much. In that case you have to take the good with the bad. MeSean doesn't have to make the bad plays.

Not much I can say but the season series is still at 1-1 and the Eagles still have a lot of work to do to get into the playoff picture. They are at 4-6 and still are 2 games behind the Giants and Cowboys for the division lead. However, I will admit I am starting to worry about the Giants....next two weeks vs. Saints, and Packers.

And two games to go with Dallas. The Eagles also have a 3-1 record in the division, if they are able to pull even with the Giants and Cowboys they will likely be in good shape for tie breakers.

With GB being 10-0 and both Chicago and Detroit being 7-3 it's possible that both wild cards will come out of the North.
Looks like the Giants, Cowboys or Eagles will have to win the East to make the post season.

I thought the Eagles would be winning this year? What happened?

No idea but as far as the Giants are concerned, their 2nd half schedule is brutal....

@ Patriots, @ 49ers, vs. Eagles, @ Saints, vs. Packers, @ Dallas, vs. Washington, @ Jets, vs. Cowboys....

talk about brutal.

For starters:

Bad choice in picking a Defensive coordinator. Juan Castillo had no experience there and was coaching on the offensive side of the ball last year.

Not signing MeSean Jackson to a new contract. The Eagles had to know that MeSean act up (more than normal) if they didn't. MeSean is a knucklehead, but I wouldn't run routes over the middle either if I were him.
