Re: Winner of NDSU's region
i got lehigh over towson. wouldnt be shocked if ODU beat GSU. would bode well for NDSU. NDSU is injured a bit at key spots but I think playing at home will be the difference. I got NDSU over GSU

I think App State knocks off Georgia Southern again...setting up an App State-NDSU meeting in Fargo...could be fun.

I think NDSU's lack of offense will be exposed by playoff caliber teams but somewhat mitigated by playing at home.
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

I would be surprised if both NDSU and GSU make the semi's, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

I'll say one thing that if we do come out of this bracket I really like our chances in the championship game.DJH wrote:This is the significantly tougher side of the bracket, IMO.
Re: Winner of NDSU's region
I agree completely. I am just saying that if(and its a big if)we come out of this bracket I really like our chances in the championship game, just because I believe we will have already played the toughest in the tourney. No disrespect to the other side of bracket, because there are some great teams over there as well, just feel that our bracket is a little tougher. Gotta believe whoever comes out of our bracket will probably win it all, but who knows......thats why they play the games.Gil Dobie wrote:Let's see how the first round shapes up first.

NDSU's offense isn't anything other than average, but being at home will give them a boost.

NDSU does not have a lack of offense. Its pretty simplistic, but it has been pretty consistently good this year.

Re: Winner of NDSU's region
Our defense shut down a pretty balanced and dynamic offense on the road last weekend. I would like our chances to do the same to NDSU if we were to play them.DJH wrote:NDSU does not have a lack of offense. Its pretty simplistic, but it has been pretty consistently good this year.

Re: Winner of NDSU's region
Well said DJH, it's light years ahead of last year in terms of consistency. We won't blow you away, but execution and fundamentals are key. We didn't execute against YSU and lost by only 3 points. Our passing game has significantly improved under Brock's 1st full season. It's fun to watch him grow into his own. Injuries is the main thing I'm worried about with this team.DJH wrote:NDSU does not have a lack of offense. Its pretty simplistic, but it has been pretty consistently good this year.
