I think you can knock a few more teams out of the conversation, teams such as Stony Brook/Liberty, one of those teasm might not make it. Also I see only one MEAC team (current leader NSU) making it to the playoffs so knock out Florida A&M, Bethune Cookman, Hampton, Morgan State, South Carolina State with other teams such as Bucknell, Sacred Heart and Monmouth. I don't see Albany making it either. Also even though they have the 7 wins, I don't see Georgetown or Duquesne being invited. So I only have 23 teams when you really break it down.

As far as ODU is concerned, it looks like they really have nothing to worry about now with 8 wins, Saturday's game against WM will just be a rivalry game between the two schools and ODU will be playing for playoff positioning.

Its not a matter of it looking that way, its reality. ODU is in the playoffs... aint now way no how they get left out.

Since UTSA is a new program entering at the D-1 level, I don't think there is a transition tag, and they therefore count. As for ineligibility, I know Jackson State is on that list, but I don't recall that for Jacksonville State.

Big South won't get an at large entry. Bracket committee most likely will have to choose from the Pioneer League champion vs. a 6 D-1 win team (like a Delaware, etc). I doubt if the committee will tip their hand before the morning of the 20th.

there will be 20 7 win teams so no 6 win team is getting in. I think the 19 slots are already locked up with the last one being up to what happens with JMU or Indiana State getting in if they win out, otherwise Georgetown will likely get in.
