McCaffrey season probably over

Post by JALMOND »

Fox News is reporting that PSU running back Cory McCaffrey's season is most likely done due to the ankle injury he suffered against Montana Saturday.

He is still in a boot and on crutches. Not good. :ohno:

That really sucks. :(

Especially considering he just stepped wrong and wasn't near anyone. Those kind of injuries are the worst. He didn't do anything wrong, but no one else did anything wrong, either.

Reminds me of Ryan Bagley breaking his arm against Idaho State in 2007. :ohno:

Yep, that sucks. Has he used his red-shirt - can he get a medical waiver and play next year?

That sucks. Not sure if he ever used a RS season, but perhaps that is a possibility for him.

We have had our share season-ending injuries this year......6 total starters lost for the season, to include All-American LB Zach Johnson and WR Brandon Kaufman. Plus 3 offensive lineman an another WR. :ohno:

Johnson will be applying for a Medical Hardship RS....since he also missed all of the 2009 season with a blood clot. I believe the plan for Hart is the same, since he is a Senior this year, and Kaufman will probably just use this as his RS season, since he played as a True Freshman in 2009.

I don't think he has used his red shirt, but I doubt if we can use one as he would have played in half of the games this season. We will submit the necessary papers for a medical hardship, but the thinking is that he probably won't get it.

Sorry to hear that...He's fun to watch when PSU's not playing Montana.

Bummer for sure. I hate hearing about this but it is a fact of life in football. Might be nice if someone was to blame just for the mental aspect of it but it sounds like it just kind of happened. I wish him the best and a full, speedy recovery. :thumb:

I remember when something similar happened to Boyce from EWU. Standing on the goal line and went to plant when the whistle blew. He ruptured his ACL (i believe).

newshow wrote:The creator of Desperate Housewives DVD, plans to have 7 seasons of this amazing show. Let's hope that ABC keeps renewing the show because it would be extremely sad and depressing if the show got cancelled. The Mentalist DVD This is an addicting show. Basically, I didn't want to watch it, but since I didn't have anything else to do, I just gave t a shot, and then I liked it. I was impressed. For someone at my age, they might think of it as disgusting, because of all that sex and stuff. Medium DVD There might be a lot of stuff that a child isn't supposed to see here, the violence. But it's a cool show. My favorite character is Susan, she is the funniest character. She gets herself to funny but dangerous situations at few later parts, like get framed for having sex with John, find out that Zachary was staying in her house, that was one funny moment. Breaking Bad DVD This is the best show i have ever seen I love the characters and the plot, it keeps surprising me all the time i cant get enough. Cree is the best character ever! The tornado show was so good, I cannot wait until next episode. I love that this show is so rude and revealing little secrets now and then. Grey's Anatomy DVD I would recommend anyone who has not seen this show to see it, and i promise it´s not just a chick flick.

no way!!!!!!!

hopefully mccaffrey can play again one day instread of watching your DVD's.
