I really don't feel sorry for players who lack the discipline to put their studies ahead of their game time and party time. This is so damn stupid, it defies logic. His let his team down and believe me they know it. If/when he does regain his eligibility he will have to earn respect all over again, hopefully from third team up. They will knock the hell out of him next spring.
It was another time, another era, but taking care of your studies was always a priority at UNC, and if you were too lazy to take care of that part of your business, they had no sympathy or help for you.
Good riddance, put somebody else in who is willing to do ALL the work required to wear the uniform.
