Idaho State: 2010 Played in nine games for the Bengals … started the season on the defensive line and recorded one tackle against Montana … moved over to offensive guard due to an allotment of injuries on the offensive line … made tremendous improvements during the season.

2009: Played in 11 games, starting the final two at tackle ... recorded 12 tackles on the season, with a forced fumble ... his forced fumble came against Central Washington ... tied his career-high twice with three tackles against both Central Washington and Montana State ... added a pair of tackles against Portland State.

2008: Played in six games for the Bengals, recording 11 tackles ... had a career-best three tackles against Northern Colorado ... had 1.5 tackles for loss in his first career-game, against Montana State ... also had two tackles three times, against Montana State, Northern Arizona, and Weber State.

2007: Redshirted.

High School: Lettered in football for three seasons and soccer for three seasons at Puyallup High School ... was named First Team All-SPSL Conference both as a defensive lineman and as an offensive lineman in 2006 ... was the 2006 SPSL Co-Defensive Lineman of the Year ... also was named Tacoma News Tribune All-Area ... in soccer, he was twice named First Team All-SPSL as a goalkeeper, both in 2005 and 2006 ... led Puyallup to the 2006 state football playoffs, and he participated in the East/West game in 2007 ... in soccer, he was named the state of Washington's premier goalkeeper, and his team was ranked fifth nationally ... was an Olympic Developmental selection in 2003 and 2004, the same years he was a state team pick as well.

Personal: his parents are David and Kelly Tyler ... is majoring in physical education ... his birthday is March 25, 1989 ... his father David played linebacker at Utah State, graduating in 1982.

ODU doesn't have a player registered with the #63 so one of the incoming freshman...

Third Team All-Monmouth County and All-Conference as a senior...Started long snapping as a freshman at Middletown South...Averaged .37 seconds on short snaps and .70 seconds on long snaps...Also saw time at center and on the defensive line...Helped Middletown South to a 39-6 during his career, three state runner-up titles, and the 2009 Colonial Division Championship...Chris Rubio long snapping student since 2009, ranking as high as 13th in the country...Played for Middletown South head coach Steve Antonucci...

Other Schools Considered: Rutgers, Bowling Green, Towson, and the Citadel
