Fifty-five minutes and what seemed like 55 items into Monday morning's work session involving the University of North Alabama Board of Trustees, Ronnie Flippo called for a brief recess before he and the other members addressed the topic that had The Loft at the Guillot Center packed with people in the first place.
He didn't bother to wait for an answer in the affirmative, leaving his seat and heading right out the door.
Flippo knew the strategy, and probably the final score, before the final dialogue began about the school's possible move to Division I athletics.
