Looks like a kid that lives in my folk's neighborhood might get the nod for starting center. We lost a lot from last season, and a lot of key positions this season are seniors.

Keep an eye on the development of your OL. McClain is a better coach than Shawn Elliott and I don't even hesitate to say that. I'll bet money McClain gets scooped up quicker than Elliott did by the BCS because of it.ASUG8 wrote:http://www.goasu.com//pdf8/764611.pdf

From what I have seen and heard I wonder why they don't have Lamm and Bostick at tackles with Frye and Ruff at guard while putting a bigger kid like Fisher at center. Regardless of what McClain does you can trust him to put out a very good OL.

Yeah, McClain seems to be pretty good. Do you think he was a big reason behind Kilgore getting drafted? Seems like he made huge improvements and came out of nowhere getting NFL interest. Would never have guessed it last offseason.

I can tell you 100% that McClain was the reason. Kilgore was 270 pounds and not even being recommended to NFL teams when Elliott left and by the time November had come around I was hearing 5th-6th round on Kilgore and being told that he was considered ASU's best prospect by some teams. McClain actually teaches technique and is more than a motivator thus he was able to develop Kilgore so fast.Skjellyfetti wrote:Yeah, McClain seems to be pretty good. You should also pat Mike Kent on the back for the turnaround as well. Kent is excellent at what he does.
