1) All the old people are in Florida
2) Students on break. UD has high percentage of out of state students.
3) Christmas shopping is more important
4) Scared of the wrestling tourney crowd
5) Scared of the Georgia Southern Crowd
Yeah, its sad. I won't say too much, cause I'm not there. UD rolled out a bunch of donation plans for season ticket holders this past year, and the way they did it pissed a huge amount of people off, both in how much $$ would be required and in just general admin asshatery. We had our lowest attendance in years this year during the regular season, and it dropped even more in the playoffs. I mean, it always does, but last week was the lowest in forever. Shame for the team.
That being said, again, I wasn't there, so fuck me too.

I love that one. How big is DE again? I can cough and be out of Delaware.
Although, from experience, I could accept #5.

FINALLY.....a Hen fan that tells it like it is!
Which Delaware fan hasn't told it like it is, Jeff? Our attendance sucked last week and this week. I've said it here. I said it in a text to Bobbythekidd this morning.

Ever get tired of being the douchebaggie that you are always going to be
For those who want an honest answer Chemhen's post is the closest to the mark.
For the honor of buying season tickets one may need to pony up a $500 "donation" to the UDAFnext year.
The manner in which this has been handled for season ticket purchasers for 30 + years has ruffled more than a few Hen feathers. Add to that the highest cost playoff tickets this year for any venue and parking fees when you have already purchased a season long parking pass and a lot of UD faithful are just plain PO'd.
I was at the game today and was proud of how this crowd cheered especially the students who usually get in free but paid for this game.
This team deserved better support. While miffed at the UD administration, I did not take my ball and go home. But I can't really blame fans who did so.
Seriously, who the heck cares???? The Tub was rocking today, the atmosphere was electric, and the Hens played great ball and we're going to Texas. I realize people on boards like this need something to talk about, but being in the stadium today was absolutely awesome. Proud to be a Blue Hen tonight and I'll be even prouder in 3 weeks. But I'm sure the seats are more interesting to those with no skin in the game. Go Hens!!!!!

I certainly do not support some of the decisions that the athletics department has made over the last two years. That being said, anyone being required to donate $500 to the UDAF has 3+ tickets between the 40s. The ticket and parking prices are less than Montana. The quality on the field continues to exceed the shitshow on the west coast.
Anyone who was miffed at the UD adminstratration and showed it by being silent or absent today can suck my balls. Nebraska.
