You guys really think that after a 3K mile trip and the likelihood of bad weather that Nova is going to win by that kind of a margin?

And you guys wonder about ME taking things seriously around here?

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

That plane ride to Nagodontcha really killed them.

C'mon 93 - everybody knows that a 1.5 hr plane ride kills your chances.

You better check again. Philly to Houston is almost 4 hours.

You might beat us by 10, but there's no way you will score that many points. UD is going to need the quick passing game to overcome GSU's pass rush, and it'll take them a long time to score. I see GSU taking a long time to score when they do as well.

Low-scoring game, and it'll be close.

Let's not turn this around. My retort to SH was that plane rides don't kill football teams.

I was just pulling stuff out of my ass again. I realized after reading your posts in the Delaware thread last night that we stand no chance against Georgia Southern. You guys are just that good. I believed YT too. If Wofford had pulled it out today, they would have destroyed us too. I have you both down for a huge Georgia Southern semifinal victory! SO where are you staying in Frisco? Gonna visit Dealey Plaza and the School Book Museum?

The only way EWU has a chance is if Jones is healthy. He is the best RB in the nation, even NDSU's vaunted run defense was no match. Without him not only will EWU lose but they will get beat down. They do have one person who could potentially neutralize Scuzar's running, and that is their awesome LB Sherrit. He is unreal.

With Jones my prediction

Queer-a-Nova- 31
EWU-20

without Jones
Queer-a-Nova-48
EWU-14

I hope I am wrong because EWU has been damn good all season, but Nova looks so dominant right now.

other matchup

GSU-27
Delaware-20

just to be a PITA

Philly to Dallas - just under 4 hrs (per travelocity but most times I've flown it, it's about 3:15-3:20)
Philly to Seattle/Tacoma - just under 6

He's right though. The plane crash didn't kill the team, it only killed the players. Playing the MAC killed the team.
