I'm debating whether or not UNC's 21-14 loss to NAU is worse than Idaho State's 55-7 loss to Georgia. A loss by one td is not all that bad, especially for UNC. SEC team or not, that's a pretty poor showing for any team, even ISU.

It's Georgia, dude. Most every FCS team would get creamed by Georgia.

I was going to say, I'm surprised ISU managed to hold them to less than 70...

Maybe so, but it's still by far the worst performance, no? Hypothetically speaking, if ISU had played UGA tough and kept the game close or even won it, would that not have qualified for best performance? So why is the opposite not true?

Because the caliber of the opponent matters. Playing Georgia close would mean that Idaho State should be ranked #1 or something. ISU is bad, but I doubt, say, the 30th. ranked team in FCS would have done much better.
Losing to a borderline top-25 FCS team at home is worse than getting blown-out by a decent SEC team.

They didn't. UGA had put up the 55 with almost a full quarter left to play. The coach just called off the dogs, so to speak.
Which is what I said would happen in response to those who were looking for 70s. UGA COULD have run up triple digits, but Mark Richt isn't like that. Besides, why would he risk his starters beyond a certain point and therefore risk blowing the rest of the season?
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Most Surprising Result: South Dakota 24, (#19) Cal Poly 38 - The Coyotes went 1-1 against FBS this season, but are just 2-5 against FCS.
