I was going to say, I can't wait to see how many BYE week picks come rolling out. Too late.
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

Actually, I was impressed with Towson and this is the year they take it to bye.

+1

I was just thinking "Towson's going to shock somebody this year...when I find the right week, I'm going to call the upset." Well, this is the week.

Bullshit. Tufson won't be Idle. MAYBE Bye, but definitely not Idle.

Will Sczur be back for Nova @ Maine? Guess this might not be answered since haven't seen the 1-2 Nova posters on here in awahile...

Another kind of blah week in the CAA with noone of the top 5 playing each other before the 2nd double showdown week Sat after next on the 23rd with 4 of top 5 paired up with JMU @ Nova and UD @ W&M.

UNH @ JMU: 17-10. Banged up JMU holds on at home. I'll comment more on the so far non exixtent UNH @ JMU thread.

URI @ UD by 21-28.

Nova @ Maine. Nova 14-21 (if Sczur is back). If not Nova by 7-14.

UR @ UMass by 21-28. No Corp, no 2nd string QB = no chance for UR.

Is there anyway that anyone scores 10 points in the JMU/UNH game? The offenses are terrible.

Villanova 21 Maine 19 Maine has some real talent. They also have Cosgrove and are the most penalized team in the CAA

Delaware 34 URI 7 UD gives up a garbage score and Hens receivers finally catch a Devlin pass that hits them in the hands. UD kicker miss another extra point.

UNH 17 JMU 7 My upset special. The JMU offense is on everyone's tape machine. Toman has the ability to make some big plays. Dudzik does not.

UMass 45 Richmond 0 Without Corps Richmond has no offense. Spider fans need to head to Crapsville.

Another blah week in the CAA, with no matchups between what looks like now 5 contenders for post season berths.
-10/2 was the 1st big showdown weekend in the CAA, with the UD @ JMU and Nova @ W&M games.

-10/23 next weekend is just as big, if not bigger, of a showdown weekend in the CAA with JMU @ Nova and UD @ W&M.
-10/30 there’s UMass @ JMU
-11/13 there’s W&M @ JMU and UD @ UMass- will be the 3rd showdown weekend in the CAA.
-11/20 there’s Nova @ UD

Still 6 monster games to be played out in the CAA, plus there’s likely to be one to 2 upsets of the current top 5 by the bottom 5. No telling how this thing is going to turn out. Anyone trying to predict it is simply wasting their time.

URI@UD UD takes care of business, no problems, wins by 21.
UR@UMass UR defense plays a great game, UMass by 10.
UNH@JMU UNH feeling good with it's 1 game winning streak, turns it into 2, by 1.
Nova@Maine Another very close game, Black Bears tough this one out at home by 2.

Richmond's QB issues won't be as big an issue given the winds expected in Amherst.

UNH @ JMU: JMU 10-6. JMU's TD scored by their D.

URI @ UD: UD 44-10. Everything works for Hens; 2nd string D gives up the late URI TD.

Nova @ Maine: Nova 17-10. The tail end of a Nor'easter; 18mph winds with gust to 36mph take the ball out of Szczur hands.

UR @ UMass: UMass 24-6. Spiders deserve better, but this season has turned ugly on them.

Nova @ Maine
Richmond @ UMass

URI @ UD - No contest here but Delewares offense isn't exactly dynamic enough for a big time blow out. UD 27 URI 3

UNH @ JMU - UNH fighting for their lives but this is the wrong team to fight for your life against. I predict a bloodbath and a physical battle. JMU 17 UNH 10.

Nova @ Maine - I would guess the "Nova Flash" will likely not play due to injury which will hinder the scoring a little. The Bears are a tough team at home but Nova just has too many weapons and wins. Nova 27 Maine 14.

Richmond @ UMass - Injuries to QBs have taken the Spydies mojo away and UMass still has a hard on after losing that close game at the Big House. Richmond will be back, but not this week and likely not this year. UMass 21 UR 3.

An improving Towson team does not lose this week and enjoys some home cookin' while they gather strength for the remaining games. They are still planning the big upset of 2010 to hurt someones playoff plans.

Bill & Mary spend a quiet weekend at home getting ready for a murderer's row of games. Please beat the UNC Tarholes on the 30th!

A little late, but:
UNH 28, JMU 14 :(
UD 24, URI 17  :thumb:
UR 11, UMass 10
Nova 48, Maine 18  :thumb: (shocked that Nova won by that much considering Szczur wasn't back & considering how back in Sept Maine probably should have beat W&M, who beat Nova..

Week 4: 6-1 (Missed TU/Columbia)
Week 5: 4-2 (missed JMU/UD and W&M/Nova)
Week 6: 4-0
Week 7: 2-2
