How often does a team get an at-large playoff bid with fewer than 8 DI wins?
I know it happens, but how common is it?

it happend 2 times in the big sky just last season.
Montana got the auto bid
weber and eastern washington tied for 2nd (though weber beat ewu).
weber was 7-4 overall and vs DI
ewu was 8-3 overall and 7-3 vs DI
