SIU was out of its element on Saturday. Not one phase of their game looked good.
Dear Lord, We come before you and humbly ask you to grant our prayer for a veil of protection to be placed over Donald Trump. May your will be done. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

Your interest and glee over SIU losing has nothing to do with your hate of UND, right? Help me out here, doesn't Lennon have a winning record over NDSU? NDSU is a great program, if he has a winning record over the Bison I would say he is a good coach. SUI will bounce back.

His interest and glee over SIU losing is because NDSU got beat by an FCS team this week, so obviously SIU losing to a team they were supposed to lose to is an atrocity to the football world compared to NDSU having -40 yards rushing against a team playing their first game of the season.

SIU won the turnover game only to have the offense do nothing with it each time. Two missed field goal (56 yards, fell just short and a 38 yard-er) and failed 4th down conversion helped the score.

Dieker looked awful for the first three or four drives of the game. Everything he threw was 5 yards from where it should have been, quite uncharacteristic. He looked good on the last drive of the second half but that's when that lovely failed 4th down conversion (on the Illini 22) happened. Could have been 35-12!

But don't say nothing looked good, our special teams coverage looked great.
