I'm a Blue Hen fan so I can't pick on the team or program but I can take a shot at 89.

Does anyone else find it interesting that he is a great poster on AGS but over here he is nothing more than a poor man's alexale23?

Tell that to the PCC, dude. They've been skating by on just Gonzaga for years.

And Socon is hanging on ASU for 4 years, MVC has UNI, Big Sky has Montana, GWFC has Cal Poly, NEC has Albany, etc., etc., etc. I have YET to figure out how having some team come out of nowhere every year somehow makes a conference "better".

That's only because you haven't had a team not named Montana "come out of nowhere" (or somewhere for that matter) from the BSC since 1984.

That's a circular argument at best, Hen. That STILL doesn't explain why the Russian Roulette you guys play every year in the CAA somehow makes YOU a better conference.... :?: :?: :?:

The fact that a team can go from the NC game to 3-8 in ONE year speaks VOLUMES about the coach's ability to reload and recruit, not about the relative strength of the conference. IMHO. ;)

Heck, the CAA isn't really even a conference. More of a scheduling association.

How can you have a conference if you only play 3/4 of the teams?

If it were just different teams winning the CONFERENCE and then failing in post-season against the other confernces you'd have a point. However it's different teams going to, and winning the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP and beating a bunch of other conference champs on the way. Only four teams have won the NC in the last six years. Three are from the CAA... all different teams. Sorry bud.

You know, I used to get after Montana for being in a one-team conference, but began to think that, hey, how can their success somehow be a failure of theirs?

I can see how being good and then falling off the map would need some justification as to why the mediocrity occurs. I understand now.

BTW, I have yet to figure out why Montana fans are the only BSC fans upset when the conference gets called out for being Montana and everyone else. :|
