Listen guy, Im going to tell you the truth. That video sux and NSU sucks. The reason i know NSU sux is bc of the skinny line backers with scrawny little arms. You cant win the Southland with those D2 players, & crappy highlight vids.

Thanks jhanel and ursus! I'm looking forwared to seeing the actual video they intend on using for when the team is introduced before games. Last year's was pretty sick and they didn't even have any live shots of our players so this year they should.

FWIW, the NC Central player who got laid out at :39 had to be carted of the field on a stretcher. Also some of the clips of the music they used for this video remind me of the music they used in The Black Knight.

Hey there Mr. Hanel. I didn't see this after the edit until just now. THAT is not the video you were working on previously is it? You had some pretty good work going and had said you were gonna show it when you got done. I asked in a previous post if you were done with it.

You didn't ask for comments on this one so I won't be giving them but I am interested to see the one you were woking on before and see what it is looking like? Also, I was wondering what the other one is gonna be used for? You probably said it and I just forgot.

It is not. I just put this together on Tuesday so the players could see it, and reflect back on the spring and fall, and know they worked hard, going into the last scrimmage.

The one Im working on is for the intro into the stadium. The marketing department wants a few different things then I want to do, but its what they want not what I want. I just need to film some of the players. I've made the video, so I can change out video at the end for everygame, as the season progresses. I will see how it works, thanks for keeping tabs though. I will post it when I finish it.

By the way what did you think about this one? I did it in a couple of hours. I know it sucks, because I've been told by the best there is that it sucks. Just wondering what you think

My honest opinion. It's not bad if you had only a few hours of time to put it together and if it's just something for the team then good for them. I really didn't like it though. It's basically a Pop video with a few football clips cut into it and I've seen some of the stuff you're working on so this would be an utter disappointment if it were for the stadium crowd.

I see that you were going for the "Own this town" angle and I get that but the tenor of the video and the dark mood of the clips do not really work with the up tempo, exciting, and bright football clips.

I just wouldn't use Pop videos and Pop style music if you want people to associate your videos with NSU football.

Sorry man, I hate to even say that cuz I really like what you're tying to do and I hope the University doesn't work you over and make you do something that links it to a pop/rap/type song or video. Your own work was looking pretty sweet.

I think it's gonna be really cool that you are leaving a base video that can be updated each week to put highlights clips in of the last game. That's a great idea that Montana uses each week. I bet you're gonna have a tough time choosing the crescendo piece on some weeks and sometimes it put itself in place easily.
