2009: Played in 10 games and made one start at wide receiver against TCU ... caught nine passes for 152 yards and a touchdown ... ran the ball nine times for 54 yards and a touchdown ... gained 25 yards and scored a touchdown on four carries against Angelo State ... also caught a 48-yard touchdown against the Rams ... had one catch for 11 yards at TCU ... had a season-best three catches for 81 yards versus Texas Southern ... also caught three passes for 29 yards against Southeastern Louisiana ... had one catch for 31 yards versus Stephen F. Austin and one catch for 27 yards at Northwestern State.

College: Played in four games at Hardin Simmons ... caught three passes for 49 yards ... longest reception was 33 yards against Mississippi College.

High School: Lettered in football and basketball at Stony Point High in Round Rock, Texas ... caught winning touchdown pass in 18-17 victory over McNeil to cap an 80-yard drive in the final 29 seconds to set up possible playoff berth as a junior ... caught 22 passes for 371 yards as a senior ... best game came against Cedar Park when he caught five passes for 111 yards.

Notes: They used this kid against TCU and then they seemed to stop throwing to him. I like his athleticism and skill set but something changed after that TCU game.

I hate strange numbers on kickers. Granted, my number in college was a linebacker number, but there was a reason behind it.
