Congrats to him- I'll be rooting for him like I will all the I-AA guys that get drafted, esp from the CAA. But like I said before when Ducasse was being touted as going very high, I was suprised by this based on the 2 games I saw him play, vs Maine and JMU. I'm no scout, but I watch the OL vs DL play a lot more than the avg fan. I saw UMass's loss @ Maine on TV, and Ducasse didn't dominate- the commentators even talked about how for someone being touted as a high draft pick he wasn't dominating like he should.I distinctly remember Maine's 2nd team All CAA DE Jordan Steven's being him on one play and dropping the UMass TB for a loss. In the JMU win @ Umass, Moats lined up against Ducasse much of the game (had 2.5 for loss, including 1.5 sack) and I remember him beating Ducassee several times. To be drafted that high you would think he would've at least held his own against Moats and totally dominated everyone else he faced (UMass didn't play W&M so Ducassee didn't face Tracy). I was wondering if Ducassee was playing hurt when UMass played Maine and JMU- maybe that would explain it.

So the final count was 19 drafted? That would beat the 13? from last season. Congrats to them all.

Not surprised JMU got 2 players drafted, but I would have thought it would have been Moats and Dorian Brooks at OG. -Congrats to Moats going to the Bills in the 6th and getting a chance to play at in the Bills new 3-4 defense as a rush OLB
-Congrats to Scotty McGee going to the Jags in the 6th as a return specialist.

-Dorian Brooks will apparently sign a PFA with Pittsburgh.
-JMU's TE Mike Caussin has signed a PFA with the Jags as well.

JMU should have 6 players in NFL camps, which would be a school record. (Maybe we could have a new thread on which I-AA has the most players in camps in July). The above 4 plus Akeem Jordan starting LB for the Eagles and JD Skolnitsky currently with the Colts (was on the Skins practice squad as a rookie last yr).
