Before a Furman fan says anything I want it known that Anderson is the top guy I did not put on the list and he is one huge game away from getting on.

According to the stats Jordan has missed a game, not Lindsey? I like Jordan but I just like Lindsey more. Plus, I think Lindsey is going to get NFL looks and he is not a huge CB (5'11, 190) but has good size. He is a legit shut down guy with good ball skills. I really like his game and he has been productive the last two years. I think he has a shot to get drafted. I have to get more film on him though but once I see 2-3 more games I will know for sure.

He is not on the actual list but he is a player I have seen and thought is pretty good. He won't play in the NFL but he is a very good college player. The only problem is that there are so many DEs that I am not sure if he ever gets added. He is one of my top 3 players not on the list right now and if he does well over the next two weeks I could see him getting added.

It's a travesty that TSN doesn't have Taiwan Jones on the Payton list, while still having Trevyn Smith on there. No slight to TS, he's been an incredible player over the last 4 years, but Jones has put up much better numbers, and has just as many TDs as Reynolds, and 80 or so more rushing yards (I know, Jones has played one more game). Then again, if Montana had played a top-tier BCS team as well, I'd bet Jones would still have more yards. The number of games each has played aside, Jones is averaging almost 8 (7.72) yards a carry (highest average in FCS, 2nd in all of Division I) which is an impressive feat.

Also, Matt Nichols is going quietly unnoticed for how great of a season he's been having. He has pretty much the same number of yards and TDs as Edwards... the only difference being that Edwards rushes for a lot of his TDs. I wouldn't be surprised if Nichols were in the final 3 at the end of the season.

Don't worry Eagle, TSN should have at least one more alteration of the list this year. I would be very surprised if Jones didn't make it on the watch list by the end of this season. Frankly, I expect him to contend for the award until he graduates.

Ok but Hudgins has the only a few less yards, and more TDS as Karim. I'd just like to see a WR get the same consideration as a QB or RB. Karim is also putting up great numbers and there would be something wrong if he wasn't in the final consideration for the award

Ok but Hudgins has the only a few less yards, and more TDS as Karim. I'd just like to see a WR get the same consideration as a QB or RB. Karim is also putting up great numbers and there would be something wrong if he wasn't in the final consideration for the award
