CSN - FCS TV and 9/26 Picks

Post by JMU DJ »

Analysis of TV coverage of the FCS (pretty much stuff we already know) and some decent analysis about games to watch this week as well as "Top 25 Picks".... also, I like this guys game pick of the week 8-)

Interestingly, coming into this huge game Liberty has a new “problem” that most teams would be happy to have: who to play at quarterback. South Carolina quarterback Tommy Beecher (228 yards passing, 1 touchdown) started their first two games, but backup Mike Brown’s performance against Lafayette (29-of-36, 242 yards passing, 88 yards rushing, 2 touchdowns) means that Rocco will “play both quarterbacks” this Saturday. Defensively, the Flames will be led by linebacker Wes Cheek (23 tackles, 2 interceptions) that causes Lafayette a lot of pain last week.
I guess that answers the question I've been wondering all week... who is playing QB for Liberty? Both Beecher and Brown are good QB's... Brown can also Run and play Wide out, which could lead for some scary combos when Beecher and him are on the field at the same time.... :?
