1.Sacramento State ______8-0____11-1_____ If the Hornets can live up to their talent, their conference schedule is really favorable 2.Montana State__________7-1____10-2_____ The Bobcats lost Mellott, but not much else 3.Northern Arizona ______7-1____10-2_____ I'm not sure the 'Jacks are super great at anything, but they don't seem to have any obvious weaknesses 4.Montana _______________6-2____10-2_____ At least half the Big Sky would go 4-0 against that non-conference schedule 5.Idaho___________________5-3_____7-5_____ The Vandal running game should be good, but they lost a ton on defense 6.UC Davis ______________4-4_____6-6_____ The Aggies plugged most of their defensive holes with transfers, but they oddly did nothing about their offensive ones 7.Weber State____________4-4_____5-7_____ Can the Wildcats avoid going 1-6 in one-score games again? 8.Idaho State ____________2-6_____3-9_____ Their passing game lost a ton, so don't expect much improvement from the Bengals this time 9.Cal Poly _______________2-6_____4-8_____ Even "mediocre" would be the best season Cal Poly's had in a while 10.Eastern Washington____2-6_____3-9_____ The downward trajectory continues for Aaron Best's Eagles 11.Northern Colorado_____1-7_____2-10____ The Bears' current trajectory has them likely winning the Big Sky in the mid-2030s. 11.Portland State__________0-8_____0-12____ Did PSU give Barnum a contract extension just to torture him?
Sac greatly benefits from not having to play MSU or NAU. They also get Montana & Idaho at home.
I doubt 10-2 would be enough to get the Griz a first-round bye given how weak their non-conference is.
I like the confidence, Venus. However, there's one preseason poll out there that has us mired in 15th nationally, far behind the blasted Manure Pile.
I HATE the Manure Pile....
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

That’s a great ranking. Sac being the wildcard as you admit. The NAU pick is solid too.

Well, most people seem to just look at how things finished last year. Lan Larison is a massive loss, and that's far from the only thing gone from the Aggies this year.

Sadly, I think you nailed EWU.
I would put Sac behind MSU & NAU if we were doing a power-ranking thing, but—again—the Hornets don't have to play the two teams I would rank above them.
Lately, it seems EWU's defense never gets any better no matter how many defenders they return from the previous season.

Yup.
It doesn’t help that we seem to turnover half the coaching staff every season now.
Going to be a rebuilding year for Portland State, even by our standards. We currently have 5 QB's in fall camp who are vying for the starting job and no one has emerged so far as the favorite two weeks before the first game. No Montana State, UC Davis or Idaho State on the schedule, but unless we get lucky and whoever starts all have breakout seasons, we will struggle.

Not my best work, but I wasn't catastrophically off on anyone. I kinda figured the bottom half of the league would be more competitive than in the last few years, and I was right about that at least. I did nail Cal Poly's record, but I really didn't think 4-8 with a tough schedule would get Paul Wulff fired.

Both Northern Arizona and Sacramento State are out of the playoffs and deservedly so, in hindsight these pics were not very good at all
