Roper or Selle?

Post by SUUTbird »

Just out of curiosity you Griz fans, after watching the Montana vs Western State game i was wondering who you guys are leaning towards at this point to start for you guys? Personally my vote is for Roper after watching the game on bigskytv. :thumb:

Roper, though he did look a little rusty.

Selle made to many bad decisions.

For having run this offense (in practice) for 3 years Selle looked really confused...
by week 4 there will be no question who's better

My vote is Roper as well as he looked better even though he needs a lot of work on setting before passing. I think Roper has a major upside.

Roper didn't completely freak out when he had to move out of the pocket and made some decent plays; Selle seemed to panic and make some bad decisions. I'm not ready to give up on Selle yet, but Roper has my vote for now.

I'm hoping Selle improves, because we all know we won't win a national championship without a Montana boy at the helm. :ugeek:

To me, the Roper/Selle combo just screams Ochs/Disney.

You'd be hard pressed to find a smarter, and nicer young man than Andrew Selle, but my pick is #18!

There's one right here but I have to agree, Roper was head and sholders above Selle last Saturday.

I expect them to switch again this week but then Hauck will pick one and get ready for conference play.

different venue/atmosphere, looking forward to seeing them both compete again.
