It's because the MEAC sucks. The SWAC would be just as worthless if the still were in the playoffs.

Hampton talked big last year until they got beat by SIU by a couple TDs.

Del State fans weren't quite as bad as the Pirates.

1999 - Florida A&M made it to the Semifinals, losing to Youngstown St. 27-24.

They beat App St. and Troy on the way.


MEAC scores since then:

2000- Florida A&M 0 - WKU 27
2001- Florida A&m 35 - GSU 60
2002 - Bethune-Cookman 0 -GSU 34
2003 - Bethune-Cookman 24 - Florida Atlantic 32
