Played 6 man football. Of the two field goals that didn't get blocked, I nailed a 38 and a 32 yarder. Was good from about 45 in practice.
Also punted and did kick off returns. Was the QB and MLB as well. Did I mention it was 6 man football. Fun as hell playing a bunch of farm kids weighing 165 trying to put a hit on anything.
Most fun game ever was a 6 man / 8 man game. On offense, we played 6 man and of course they had to play 6 man D, the we switched to 8 man on D when they were 8 man on offense. Different offensive rules as well.
They thought they were gonna win, then we rolled their azzes 48-6. The 6 was a mercy TD.

Kind of the same with me but not really. In practice and pre-game I was consistently hitting 45-50 and even 55 a few times, but come game time, our coach wouldn't kick field goals. Then come playoff time, we're down 9-8 and he puts me in for a 52 yarder...and missed because the farthest he had let me kick in a game was 40. Dumb man when it comes to special teams. May or may not have contributed to me not being recruited by ANY Montana teams and was forced to expand into ND, SD and MN. I did get offers from South Dakota Tech, Black Hills State, Dickinson State, Jamestown College and Valley City State but I liked Concordia so I went there and ended up just punting and it's worked out.SeattleGriz wrote:Played 6 man football.
