Gone to black. I'd prefer a white one, but black beats gold anyday. New uniforms are in the works with a new contract with Under Armour. Unclear as to if they'll be ready for this season.
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

I liked the gold helmets but the black is cool as well being a school color.
Definitely too much. The Panthers with a gold helmet could be pretty sweet. I do think the black pants look sharp, but UNI should stick with school colors. Work in the gold color.

There isn't a way to work our Yellow in. Yellow top..won't happen. Yellow Helmet...won't happen. Yellow pants...won't happen.
The only way to take black out is to add white pants with a Purple stripe, even most like East Carolina.

Can't wait to see what they look like in person with the helmets on.
I had never seen the yellow jerseys until seeing the SoCon baseball tourney, and it grew on me then. Fortunately, it's only one game then back to black Saturday.
BTW, by the time homecoming rolls around, we should (in Tour de France terms) be wearing the yellow jersey.
The App. Gold doesn't look real good at first but with the black helmet on and 11 guys out there it should look pretty eye catching. I think I'm likin' it.

Personally I've never been a fan of bright yellow jerseys. I'm not feeling it with those, sorry
Apparently, in person, they're not bright at all. Someone posted on the MMB that he "saw the jerseys yesterday - and they look pretty darn sweet! the yellow is one of those rich, deep yellows, not an obnoxious yellow."

I still have my Nealy jersey they sold in the bookstores. I really liked that design. But to be honest I have a weak spot for the Nike design we used a couple years ago. Those were sweet. I think the latest edition, while being bare, is a really solid and intimidating look. No nonsense, no fluff, and nothing outrageous.
Lafayette has about a million combo's. We have Maroon, White and Black jerseys and Maroon, white and Black pants. We have worn all possible combo's over the last several years but the most common is Maroon on white for home and White on white for away. We have worn all Maroon one or twice and White on Maroon a few times. We wore black pants and white Jersey's for a Lehigh hame. We also wear Black on white or Black on Black for big home games. A few years ago against Harvard we wore Maroon on black and it was terrible
They need to stick with the black as much as possible. Black on white, black on black, maybe black on maroon or maroon on black, at home and white on black on the road
