Sac to vault into Top Ten?
The PxP guy on the Sac State broadcast last night at some point during the last ten minutes (the point at which I was able to tune in after our Harvest Block Party at church last night) posited that the next poll may well push the Hornets into the Top Ten.
How likely is this? It seems that the titanic games of the last few weeks have shell-shocked the rankings (note the Kitties falling from #6 to #12 after losing to Sac). Are we getting near the point of these titanic moves evening out to some degree, moving Sac perhaps to #12 or #13, or will the Hornets get the big boost that the commentator suggested?

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

I already had Sac #4 before yesterday, so they're not gonna move in my ballot (behind only NDSU, SDSU, JMU).

If Montana can jump 9 spots after beating Davis, Sac can at least jump 5 spots for beating them

Re: Sac to vault into Top Ten?
Remember when Davis gave NDSU all they could handle in Fargo earlier this year? Davis is likely not the best team in the Causeway this year.
Sac State still has a strong test in front of them, but you win one game in Montana (either Missoula or Bozeman) and you beat the other Montana school in the same year, only good teams are capable of that. As long as the Hornets don't suffer a Griz hangover at Cal Poly, that Weber game should be fun. People on the east coast will have to stay up late for that one.

The Coaches Poll now shows Sac at #8. Still waiting on the STATS poll....

Nothing to indicate SacState isn’t deserving. They passed the test Saturday eliminating all doubt.
Dear Lord, We come before you and humbly ask you to grant our prayer for a veil of protection to be placed over Donald Trump. May your will be done. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

I'm not sure why NCAA.com still hasn't updated the STATS poll. It's already been published on their own site.
