Here is another interesting OOC game from the MVFC.

The Sycamores are an improving team. It remains to be seen if they are evolving into a competitive program or simply had a good year or two. The perfect foil to give us the answer is University of Kansas.

This prognostication is based on the results of last years teams. There have been changes but does it really matter what happens at Kansas? They are not very good at football and in past years would not have won the MVFC title.

The Sycamores on the other hand are coming off a successful season. They were in the running for a playoff spot and notched some good wins. I believe they have lost a coach to NDSU but not sure about the roster and the changes from last year. Maybe some Sycamore fans can check in.

Why give Kansas any SOS advantage? They lost 9 games last year starting with a nail-biting loss to Nicholls at Lawrence 26-23 in OT. They finished the season losing their last 4. They stayed somewhat competitive and rarely lost by double digits.

The GAM has this game very close. It has high potential for miss-pricing on five dimes. The 2 point margin tells us it should be close. If the spread goes out to double digits, maybe 20 or more, its a clear sign to take the points and the Sycamores

Keep an eye on this one. It could be a money maker.

Bison brutalized UK in a close, physical defensive battle. ISU can do the same. 5 dimes has the game close but no margin of safety. We were looking for somehting more along the lines of the Sagarin spread of 7 or more. If we take anybody it will be ISU, points and under.
