The Redskins have 33 tryout players on hand during this weekend’s rookie minicamp, which began Friday. It’s led by former Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams Jr., who tried out for the Seattle Seahawks last week but remains unsigned. Washington currently has 88 players on its roster, leaving two spots available to sign a tryout player that impresses during rookie minicamp.

Vernon Adams has finally found a home in professional football. Over the weekend, Adams signed a 3-year deal with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.

That should be very fun to watch. I don't watch much CFL anymore but I do like his game so if I can tune him in once in a while I sure will. Glad he signed on there and it might still give him a shot later on.
