Nice to see sophomore Terence Grady get more targets. He has size and could be good in years to come.

Really like the Kupp kid...hope he is on my Vikings roster next season.
And my new favorite Pack 12 QB Big Play VA has been great lately and I hope that continues

Kupp had a workman-like day, especially for him. One 65 yard catch, and 5 other catches for 53 yards. Zero TD's (although he did have a passing TDkalm wrote:Did you even look at the stat line? You probably just should've harkened to the turd McNeese laid when the previously undefeated Cowboys hosted Eastern Washington in 2007 and not gone beyond that since Eastern Washington is 2-3 vs. Southland teams in the playoffs and 1-2 against them at home. Haven't been NEARLY as successful against Southland teams in the playoffs as Montana has.t's not just like another boring home playoff win over a Southland team.
This is the honest truth: If I see that a Southland team is going to play at Montana in the playoffs I pretty much figure it'd be a miracle if they win. No Southland team has ever won there in the playoffs and I can only think of one instance in which it was even a close game (McNeese at Montana in 1994). If I see that they're going to play Eastern Washington it's not the same kind of thing. I see it as a potentially winnable game. I'm not just jerking your chain either. I really feel like that.
Now, if I see that a Southland team has Montana at home I feel pretty good about that. I actually worry more about Eastern Washington as a road team than I do about Montana. Probably because McNeese is 3-0 against Montana at home while Eastern Washington cleaned their clock when they came in.

Hasn't everyone been doing that to McNeese in the playoffs lately, though?JohnStOnge wrote:Now, if I see that a Southland team has Montana at home I feel pretty good about that. Yeah there's something to that. Still, if it's going to be a road game I'd rather see McNeese go to Eastern Washington during the playoffs than have to go to Montana.Mvemjsunpx wrote:Hasn't everyone been doing that to McNeese in the playoffs lately, though?JohnStOnge wrote:Now, if I see that a Southland team has Montana at home I feel pretty good about that. And if you look at it from the perspective of the Southland in general Montana has CLEARLY been WAY more of a problem than Eastern Washington has.

It's an amazingly tough place to win and you're proving my point. It's way easier to beat a Southland team in WGS than Eastern.JohnStOnge wrote:You probably just should've harkened to the turd McNeese laid when the previously undefeated Cowboys hosted Eastern Washington in 2007 and not gone beyond that since Eastern Washington is 2-3 vs. Southland teams in the playoffs and 1-2 against them at home.
