Who do you guys have left?
All jokes aside, sorry to hear about the injuries. If I were a Griz fan circa 2011 though, I'd probably tell you it's no excuse.
3rd string guy looked okay for his first game. Griz lose 24-21 in OT, though.
Simis was able to step up in the pocket & run. Unfortunately, that was pretty much it for his bag of tricks. OK, he did throw a TD pass to a pretty much uncovered WR, but aside from that he looked kinda deer-in-the-headlights-ish.
Weber got last week out of their system while the Griz decided to play meh-ball.
And last but not least, let's take some time to celebrate the Vikings. Last year, this team went 3-9, finished 10th in the Big Sky conference, and fired their coach, Nigel Burton. Now they're 4-1, with a win over a power conference opponent and a blowout victory over an FBS team. I have no clue what new coach Bruce Barnum has done; the turnaround from "bad FCS team" to "obliterating FBS teams by 60" seems like it would involve sorcery or steroids. Kudos to Portland State, who should make the FCS playoffs.
Since I am a McNeese fan I know that before Portland State did that to North Texas the biggest margin of victory by a I-AA/FCS over a I-A/FBS was McNeese State's 32 point win (53-21) over South Florida in 2013.
I guess McNeese will have to be content with the biggest I-AA/FCS margin of victory over an Automatic Qualifier Conference team during the BCS era. Oh well.

I know Northridge beat Boise by about 40 in the late '90s… that's the most lopsided I know of.
Yeah they did! 63-23 in 1997. I guess the thing I heard about McNeese beating South Florida by 32 was the biggest margin for a I-AA/FCS over a team from an automatic qualifier conference during the BCS era.
