Post by Mvemjsunpx »

Friday

Suutah 20-30 WeberWhoever wins can keep their delusions of adequacy alive

Saturday

NoDak 10-20 Portland St.A few timely pass completions should make the difference in this one

Idaho St. 24-48 Cal PolyThe 'Stangs may be struggling, but to nowhere near the level of the Bungles

Montana 37-14 Davis — It won't be quite as ugly as 2013, but Davis just isn't good

NoCo 17-34 Sac StateNorthern Colorado looks uncompetitive even by Northern Colorado standards

Montana St. 45-38 NAU — The 'Jacks just don't seem to have quite as many horses as usual this year

30-10 for the year in conference games (not going to count the two wild cards from last week). Here's my predictions.

ISU at CP---The Mustangs return to the green grass of home. The Bengals wish they could get out of this nightmare...CP 45, ISU 21.

UM at UCD---The Grizzlies sought to return to winning last week, now they hope to improve on the road against the Aggies...UM 35, UCD 20.

MSU at NAU---The Bobcats defense showed up in the first half last week and were able to coast. Can they do the same on the road in the Lumberjacks' lair...NAU 38, MSU 34.

UND at PSU---Life looks weird on top of the conference for the Vikings and the Dakotans. How many had this game as big game before the season began...PSU 28, UND 14.

UNC at SAC---The Hornets haven't had much to cheer about this season but they should still be able to get enough from both sides of the ball to hold off the Bears...SAC 28, UNC 17.

SUU at WSU---The Thunderbirds had a tuneup for this game last week but they may soon discover the Wildcats are not a winless DII team...WSU 28, SUU 14.

WSU – Taking Weebs at home. Should be a good game.
PSU – I like the Vikes coming off the bye. UND has looked decent so far, should be a good one.
CP – If CP loses to ISU…wow…just wow…
UM – Probably a little closer (score-wise) than people will think, Griz should roll to an easy win nonetheless.
Sac – Will be close as the Hornets continue their search for a QB and any consistency on offense.
MSU – Bobcats are on a roll, it continues in Flagstaff.

CP cruises to a huge win.

Griz dominate.

I can't stand the Bozos, but the Jacks don't stand a chance here. MSU by a ton.

UND has looked good at times, but PSU seems more consistent in their comeback. Jal probably has the score right here.

Sac over UNC, but still looks like cr@p....

Portland State played a DII, Western Oregon last week. Maybe perhaps it does qualify as a bye, but it was a tough bye.

I could sit here and post about how you guys underestimated SUU but I'll just point to the scoreboard :thumb: . Hell of a performance by SUU!

Yes it was. Throw out the SDSU game and you guys are looking good. One of the best defensive players in FCS, a senior QB, and a very favorable schedule the rest of the way, avoiding EWU and UM. Might be in the mix at the end. :thumb:

I am not so sure its a favorable schedule, we have Montana State and their high powered offense, Scrappy Portland State, Cal Poly who despite their recent setbacks are a good ball team and NAU is always a close game. Here is hoping for the best but we cant afford to overlook anyone at this point.

So much balance in the conference this year, no one can afford to overlook anyone. :thumb:

3-3 this week. 33-13 for the season. At least I picked the NAU/MSU game right.

Well I've sat through a lot of horrible and embarrassing Hornets games, but last night took the cake. Somehow the Hornets found a way to lose when holding the opposing offense to 6 points and less than 200 yards of offense. The Hornets program has regressed from being competitive to dumpster fire in half a season. WAFJ. :ohno:

Just make sure you play like that next weekend. Your dumpster fire needs to be a little bit bigger than our dumpster fire.
