UNI 34-20 CP
UCD 27-47 HAW
SAC 14-32 WEB
IDST 0-52 BSU
NOCO 3-30 SUU
NAU 13-77 UA
UMT 21-31 LIB
UND 9-34 NDSU

  • NConf Record: 0-6
    Overall: 11-16

    vs. FCS: 0-3
    Overall: 4-7

Best Performance: (#14) Eastern Washington 55, (#11) Montana St. 50 - The Eags were nearly doubled in time of possession, but that matters little when your offense averages nearly 12 yards-per-play.

Worst Performance: Northern Colorado 3, Southern Utah 30 - The Bears commit 5 turnovers as even winning a single conference game now looks like a tough road for them.

Most Surprising Result: (#17) Cal Poly 20, (#9) Northern Iowa 34 - The 'Stangs forget to show up for the first quarter and blow a chance to cement a top-tier non-conference resume.

Southland

HBU 21-49 ACU
MCNSE 28-14 SFA
LAM 49-46 SHSU
NICH 10-20 UIW

Best Performance: Lamar 49, (#3) Sam Houston St. 46 - Kade Harrington puts up 313 total yards and 3 total TDs in a dominant performance for the Cardinal offense.

Worst Performance: Nicholls St. 10, Incarnate Word 20 - Largely thanks to 4 picks, the Colonels lose their 20th. consecutive game.

Most Surprising Result: (#3) Sam Houston St. 46, Lamar 49 - A listless defensive effort should plummet the Bearkats in the rankings.

Missouri Valley

UND 9-34 NDSU
DRAKE 0-52 SDK
UNI 34-20 CP
MIZST 7-70 ARST
ILST 34-31 EIU (OT)

    vs. FCS: 6-1
    Overall: 14-3

Best Performance: (#9) Northern Iowa 34, (#17) Cal Poly 20 - Panther QB Aaron Bailey accounts for 3 total touchdowns in leading a surprisingly good performance for his offense.

Worst Performance: Missouri St. 7, (FBS) Arkansas St. 70 - The Bears allow a 92% completion percentage as they're embarrassed by a Sun Belt team.

Most Surprising Result: (#9) Northern Iowa 34, (#17) Cal Poly 20 - In a display of the change in UNI's offensive style, Aaron Bailey has nearly twice as many rushing yards on the season as any of his teammates.

OVC

SEMO 28-29 INST
ILST 34-31 EIU (OT)
TSU 13-48 JAXST
MUR 20-52 WMU
MER 22-29 TTU

    Overall: 6-5

Best Performance: (#1) Jacksonville St. 48, Tennessee St. 13 - Gamecocks win rushing 349-24 in a thorough evisceration.

Worst Performance: Tennessee St. 13, (#1) Jacksonville St. 48 - The Tigers fall to 2-9 against JSU in suffering the most lopsided defeat in the history of the series.

Most Surprising Result: Tennessee Tech 29, Mercer 22 - I don't know what I was more surprised by: that the Golden Eagles won, or that they were actually favored in the point spread.

Pioneer League

DRAKE 0-52 SDK
cofar 0-86 VALPO
BUT 41-10 tay
DUQ 13-24 DAY
SACHRT 27-34 MARIST

Worst Performance: Drake 0, South Dakota 52 - After nearly stunning North Dakota in Grand Forks, the Bulldogs get spanked by last year's MVFC basement.

Most Surprising Result: Marist 34, Sacred Heart 27 - After scoring 7 points combined against two Patriot League teams, the Red Foxes explode for 504 yards against the two-time defending NEC champions.

Tomorrow: the rest of the playoff conferences.
