Ah, shit....
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

Holy death bracket, Batman!
Delaware draws Carolina in round one, and if they were to miraculously pull that one out of their asses, they get the winner of Duke/Hopkins in round two.
Hofstra doesn't even make the CAA tourney but gets into the dance. Andy's gonna just loooooooove that.

Hofstra doesn't bother me as much as Hopkins getting in 7-7 is a friggin joke. I hope they get embarrassed by Duke.93henfan wrote:Holy death bracket, Batman!

Towson wlax gets an at large bid. Goes up against #6 UVa. Is it too early to start wondering if UVa has their heads on straight and how Towson can take advantage of this situation?
Yeah, I think so too.

Well, in a 16 team bracket, there's no real way to hide and try to slip through.93henfan wrote:Holy death bracket, Batman!

I agree with Andy, Hopkins probably gets throttled by Duke so if the Hens can top the Tar Heels they'll be taking on Duke. On the bright side, the quarters will be in Princeton, NJ, so if the Hens get that far they won't need to travel far.

It'd be nice to see Army beat the 'Cuse but it is not likely.
I'm pretty sure Bryant will be eligible to play in the tourney starting next season. That's a program that has a long way in a short time. Not too much of a surprise when you consider who the coach is.

It is going to be a big day for all of us in Tournament this weekend. Stony Brook will host Denver at 5pm. Stony Brook also will be hosting the Quarter Finals next Sunday. So a win tomorrow puts us at home to face Virginia in the Quarters. Good luck to all the FCS programs in the Tourney!
Re: The official 2010 NCAA LAX Thread
Good luck to Stony Brook! For that matter, good luck to every non-ACC, non-Big East, non-Ivy (sorry, but this is the one sport where the Ivies are bad guys), non-Johns Hopkins team in the tourney.Seawolf97 wrote:It is going to be a big day for all of us in Tournament this weekend. Stony Brook defeated Denver this afternoon 9-7 and will face #1 Virginia next week in the Quarter Finals. On a positive note it will be home game for us - already got my tickets at $60.00 bucks a pop. The other game should be Cornell vs. Syracuse in a rematch of the 2009 Title Game. It will be a great day of lax !

Hopkins got in on name alone and their consecutive streak of being in this tournament since '71. I liken it to when cal Ripken was in his last few year and still making the All-Star starting line up.

Towson falls to UVa in the first round 12-14. It was a one point game until 1:58 when the Whahoo's put the game away. Not really unexpected, UVa was playing for a bit more than just a win. Towson players gave Virginia players angel pins after the game.

Maybe that's what we need to get a stadium.....a Governor that can actually see how dangerous and disgusting our field is now.

Where will the lax Final Four be this year? Boston, Baltimore or Philly?
