The Duke Blue Devils need a sense of the appropriate. They called a RB jump pass (it looked something like a HS pop pass, only thrown by the RB) at the North Carolina one. Naturally, just like when calling the Rice slant in that situation, the entire box was covered, and the pass was picked.
Should have checked to sneak, the option, or a rollout pass. SMH....

I don't hate the play, it just wasn't the right time for it. The problem with the play was that the situation didn't call for a run. It had to be a pass. Only 18 seconds left and they were out of timeouts. They could have run at least 3 pass plays there. Not sure why they thought faking a run would work. The TE was covered. It looks like he was trying to throw it incomplete and didn't get it low enough.
