Does this mean that you'll be asked about it later? I have no doubt they will at some point and by some methodology determine whether you are or are not a felon.

Wait...so how is saying the definition of Felon better or less disparaging? That don't make no sense.

I have no problem with this what so ever. It's a work place policy/philosophy, it's not big brother telling people what they can't say on their own time.

I employed a violent felon who did hard time for an assault he committed when he was 18. He owns that shit and now has a beautiful family and a career. He is extremely contemplative and reflective about his actions and experiences in prison. He doesn't need to be defined as a felon. He will spend the rest of his life reconciling that shit on his own.

I realize they're not all like that, but as long as they are being released, it's in all of our best interests to soften the landing so they can be re-assimilated.

If a felon is offended or hurt by being called a felon I say they aren't penitent enough and should go back in for another year or so until they aren't offended or hurt by being called a felon.

Shame on you kalm. You really think Jesus would give someone a second chance to atone for past transgressions? :ohno:

Are felons really complaining about this? Or is it just more liberal BS to get employers to hire more people that may one day rob them/rape them/burn their offices down?
