She's probably got a higher IQ than Barack Obama. I'm serious too. If each were to sit down and take a real IQ test I'd bet on Sarah Palin to get the higher score.

You have to remember that Obama benefitted from the thing where prestigious universities are interested in admitting members of "under represented minorities" who would not be getting in if they weren't members of those "under represented minority" groups.

Another thing: People talk about how smart he is yet it is conspicuously impossible to locate anything like his standardized test scores. We can find Al Gore's and George W. Bush's SAT scores. We can find Jack Kennedy's and Richard Nixon's IQ scores. But try finding any test score that says something about Obama's raw intelligence. You won't.

And I think that if his test scores showed him to be all that smart we would know what they are. The fact that they're not out there tells me they'd embarrass him and put the lie to the myth about him being "the smartest guy in the room."

The fact that he looks good on TV and uses a teleprompter well doesn't mean he's all that smart.

Never voted for Obama, never considered it, have little doubt that he was just a token black at Columbia and Harvard Law, but I just can't buy that Palin is smarter than he is. At least Obama is clever enough to fool people into thinking he knows what he's doing and that he's somehow above typical politics. Palin can't even fake like she knows what she's talking about. I'm pretty sure I could've BS'ed through that Katie Couric interview better impromptu.

Honestly though, I would rather have a president who knows he might be in over his head and let people who are much smarter run the show than have a president who isn't nearly as smart as he thinks he is. I think Obama is probably much more likely to overestimate himself than Palin, so she has that going for her.
