It must be such a burden for you to be the only person on earth who "understands" so much...

I notice he had nothing to say about the bit tearing his precious Christianity a new one.
He'll reaffirm one of your personal views and destroy another all in the same manner - with logic
George Carlin as well as Penn and Teller do a nice job of destroying tightly held beliefs
Penn and Teller do one on Organic Foods that Conservatives love to quote
but they also do one on Religion and Corporatism and Big Business
it's difficult to snuggle up with them too much (because they destroy everything)

Carlin is great at creating funny routines on faulty premises. He succeeds at making me laugh, but his jokes aren't necessarily based on facts; they are just jokes.Chizzang wrote:Yeah... Carlin is dangerousGrizalltheway wrote:![]()

He uses a circular type of logic that (after he's run the circle a few times) becomes overwhelming...BlueHen86 wrote:Carlin is great at creating funny routines on faulty premises. He succeeds at making me laugh, but his jokes aren't necessarily based on facts; they are just jokes.Chizzang wrote:

When he's done its hard to disagree with him
Same with the Penn and Teller guys...

Carlin was against religion. Big deal. His choice.
