Once again the radical left wing anti gun laws leave behind carnage and mayhem. This blood is once again on legislators who impose strict gun laws and make victims out of their subjects.
This needs to stop before more lives are lost.

Gotta disagree here. This guy had some mental issues and should not have been allowed to have a gun. Even the NRA agrees that people with mental problems shouldn't have guns, unfortunately the laws weren't strong enough to take this guys guns.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/05/25/au ... g-rampage/

Disagree all you want but someday you have to realize laws will never stop guys like this from getting guns.
Make a law banning mental illness, when that works I will allow you to move forward with gun control.
This blood is all on the lefts hands AGAIN......................PERIOD end of story. There is no rational argument anymore, its over.

Blame the left all you want, I don't know who is at fault. What I do know is that someone in this guys family reached out for help, and this guy still went off.

Make a law stopping it then, make some laws to stop people from harming others. Make a law against murder.

So what you are saying is that we shouldn't make any laws since all laws can be broken. Got it.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:Make a law stopping it then, make some laws to stop people from harming others. Make a law against murder.

Some thoughts on this incident:
1) Three of the perpetrator's six victims were stabbed to death. He was also nailing people with his vehicle; though apparently he didn't succeed in killing any that way.
2) He had Asperger Syndrome.
3) As I watched the report I noted that he looked White. I thought to myself that it seems like it's almost always White guys that do this kind of crazy thing and if it's not a White guy it's an Asian. Then the report indicated that he was half White and half Asian.

I agree with you. The problem is trying to determine which mental health patients are dangerous. It's a very small minority of people taking any kind of psychiatric drug who commit these crimes, and not all of them are completely unhinged a la Jared Loughner.BlueHen86 wrote: Gotta disagree here. If the anti gun people are so stupid and won't learn from this. It's not our fault. They can stop things like this from happening, get a CWP, take a gun education class, and learn to shoot.

Almost all private businesses were under state control, socialization, New Dealesque public construction programs and government initiatives to lower unemployment, gold confiscation, wage and price controls. Mussolini was a "progressive" wet dream come true.

Socialism to fascism seems to be a natural progression.2. Mussolini was a socialist before becoming a fascist.
Born to a socialist father, Mussolini was named after leftist Mexican President Benito Juárez. His two middle names, Amilcare and Andrea, came from Italian socialists Amilcare Cipriani and Andrea Costa. Early in Mussolini’s life, for instance, those names seemed appropriate. While living in Switzerland from 1902 to 1904, he cultivated an intellectual image and wrote for socialist periodicals such as L’Avvenire del Lavoratore (The Worker’s Future). He then served in the Italian army for nearly two years before resuming his career as a teacher and journalist. In his articles and speeches, Mussolini preached violent revolution, praised famed communist thinker Karl Marx and criticized patriotism. In 1912 he became editor of Avanti! (Forward!), the official daily newspaper of Italy’s Socialist Party. But he was expelled from the party two years later over his support for World War I. By 1919 a radically changed Mussolini had founded the fascist movement, which would later become the Fascist Party.

"The Fascist conception of the State is all-embracing; outside of it no human or spiritual values can exist, much less have value. Thus understood, Fascism is totalitarian, and the Fascist State—a synthesis and a unit inclusive of all values—interprets, develops, and potentiates the whole life of a people. (p. 14)LeadBolt wrote:http://www.history.com/news/9-things-yo ... -mussolini

By 1919 a radically changed Mussolini had founded the fascist movement, which would later become the Fascist Party.
Fascism is therefore opposed to Socialism to which unity within the State (which amalgamates classes into a single economic and ethical reality) is unknown, and which sees in history nothing but the class struggle. Fascism is likewise opposed to trade unionism as a class weapon, but when brought within the orbit of the State, Fascism recognises the real needs which gave rise to socialism and trade-unionism, giving them due weight in the guild or corporative system in which divergent interests are coordinated and harmonised in the unity of the State. (p.15)
Yet if anyone cares to read over the now crumbling minutes giving an account of the meetings at which the Italian Fasci di Combattimento were founded, he will find not a doctrine but a series of pointers… (p. 23)
It may be objected that this program implies a return to the guilds (corporazioni). No matter!... I therefore hope this assembly will accept the economic claims advanced by national syndicalism (sindacalismo). (p. 24)
Fascism [is] the precise negation of that doctrine which formed the basis of the so-called Scientific or Marxian Socialism. (p. 30)
After Socialism, Fascism attacks the whole complex of democratic ideologies and rejects them both in their theoretical premises and in their applications or practical manifestations. Fascism denies that the majority, through the mere fact of being a majority, can rule human societies; it denies that this majority can govern by means of a periodical consultation; it affirms the irremediable, fruitful and beneficent inequality of men, who cannot be levelled by such a mechanical and extrinsic fact as universal suffrage. (p. 31)
Fascism is definitely and absolutely opposed to the doctrines of liberalism, both in the political and economic sphere. (p. 32)
The Fascist State lays claim to rule in the economic field no less than in others; it makes its action felt throughout the length and breadth of the country by means of its corporate, social, and educational institutions, and all the political, economic, and spiritual forces of the nation, organised in their respective associations, circulate within the State. (p. 41).
