Proof of Network Anti-GOP Bias
They've refused to refer to the party claimed by the former mayor of New Orleans who was convicted of corruption. This has occurred on multiple occasions dating back to the trial. Apparently, this happened even on a day they made DANG sure to get in a jab at a GOP guy forced to resign from the Congress after getting caught with coke. Network hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me....

I don't see the problem.
If I need the media to tell me the political affiliation of a black politician in Louisiana then I've got bigger problems than media bias

The party isn't important.SuperHornet wrote:So ID'ing the party of ONE political felon but NOT one from the other party is OK with you?CID1990 wrote:I don't see the problem.

Re: Proof of Network Anti-GOP Bias
Then why bother with the other one, V? That's the part that doesn't make any sense. One guy is a generic mayor convicted of corruption, but the other one is a REPUBLICAN Congressman busted for drugs. If it's not important for the one, why is it important for the other?
Explain THAT. Please....

It doesn't really matter to me. It doesn't affect my vote one way or the otherSuperHornet wrote:So ID'ing the party of ONE political felon but NOT one from the other party is OK with you?CID1990 wrote:I don't see the problem.

And as dumb as some of the electorate is I doubt there are many people out there who would switch parties because the media doesn't put a D or R in front of the naughty peoples names

It isn't just the networks, SH, the entire nation has an anti-GOP bias. And no wonder.SuperHornet wrote:They've refused to refer to the party claimed by the former mayor of New Orleans who was convicted of corruption. Conks should start turning to the Propaganda Broadcasting Corporation for news they find agreeable...
http://pando.com/2014/02/12/the-wolf-of ... -division/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; On December 18th, the Public Broadcasting Service’s flagship station WNET issued a press release announcing the launch of a new two-year news series entitled “The Pension Peril.” The series, promoting cuts to public employee pensions, is airing on hundreds of PBS outlets all over the nation. It has been presented as objective news on major PBS programs including the PBS News Hour.
However, neither the WNET press release nor the broadcasted segments explicitly disclosed who is financing the series. Pando has exclusively confirmed that “The Pension Peril” is secretly funded by former Enron trader John Arnold, a billionaire political powerbroker who is actively trying to shape the very pension policy that the series claims to be dispassionately covering.

Exactly, we can't have a partisan like John Arnold, whose foundation has given to far right wing nuts like The Brookings Institute, Pew Charitable Trusts, and The Urban Institute (just to name a few) to tarnish non-partisan benefactors of PBS like The Ford Foundation, The Tides Foundation, The Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, etc.
