NAFTA
Interesting read on the subject 20 years after it was enacted. Kalm should appreciate it, if no on else.

Re: NAFTA
Here's all you need to know...
There won't be any bilateral trade write ins that include China in the new program
Why?:
Because if we change our deal with China Wal-Mart will go out of business
and Wal-Mart is America / our shining example of what we stand for and who we are as a Nation
God Bless Wal-Mart

Interesting read?
Maybe for a 9 year old.
That might have been the most empty article I've read in years.
Is the author's next article going to be about his idea that Mother Nature should be nicer to animals, plants, and the clouds?

Re: NAFTA
It was a little on the obvious side to those aware, but then again, the average American has very little appreciation for what drives international commerce decisions and how it affects their lives. Nor do they appreciate the leverage we've given up as a people for the sake of narrowly defined corporate profits.Cluck U wrote:Interesting read?![]()

Re: NAFTA
Sugar beet farmers up here are feeling what 'free trade' is all about now. Their payouts are 1/2 this year with all of the sugar being dumped on the market from Mexico and Central America.
