"There comes a time when one doesn't care why someone has a correct position, even if the foundation from which they proceed is faulty, only that they have the correct position.
The Tea Party, led by Ted Cruz, focused on Obamacare, as did a handful of House Republicans.
Despite the criticism leveled against them they were eactly right to do so, even if they come at it and arrived at their conclusions due to an incorrect starting premise or analysis.
Here's why..."

The author is correct about concerns over spending, monopolization, and Obamacare. But with one exception he keeps mentioning the last 6 years as though healthcare costs weren't a problem before that.
In regards to monopolization he also fails to recognize that healthcare is a little different from other products in that you kinda need it to survive many deadly but curable diseases. Not to mention, a healthier population is a more productive population.
Then he posts the video clip of 'one of the smartest bankers in the world.' Um yeah, smart bankers like Jamie Dimon need to be listened to more on account of knowing what's best for the middle class.

Health care suffers from the same affliction that higher education does...there is no incentive to keep costs low and competitive. For just about every other major type of insurance you buy you will hear ads bragging about their low premiums and low deductibles and what not, but not health insurance. The only advertisements you will see related to health care are generally hospitals or private practices bragging about how cherubic their staff is, about what state-of-the-art technology they have or how they are leading the region in treating kids for widdletoe-oma.
At least with higher education you can shop around and look at tuition and fees. Good luck trying to shop around if you need an appendectomy, wisdom tooth removal, mammogram, or any other kind of emergency care. Ask for an estimate and they will laugh in your face.
