There's a strong disconnect between the stock market rising and Main Street rising. The rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting left farther and farther behind. Even Obamacare will serve to increase the gap even further. The insurance companies will continue to get rich under the ACA, and the middle class/poor will see premiums go up. For someone that is so supportive of liberals, you sure do hate poor people. Obama has eyes for big business, he's a Republican. You apparently are as well. :thumb:

Meanwhile, I watched a Walmart commercial this morning highlighting the fact that engineers, dentists and other professionals proudly shop at Walmart. They claimed that 60% of all Americans shop there on at least a monthly basis.

Largest employer in the world, nickel and diming it's low wage domestic employees while its foreign "employees" are dodging collapsing buildings while literally making nickels and dimes. :ohno:

How are the employment numbers on recent college grads looking? And those folks in their 50s or 60s looking for work, how are they faring? And manufacturing jobs? :coffee:

We have a Target and Walmart accross the street from each other. Walmart parking lot is larger and is usually packed, Target lot is busy, but not as full. Target shoppers appear to be a majority caucasion, while Walmart is about 50 percent caucasion at most.

I shop them both, and Kohls as well. Although I can honestly say I don't think I've ever bought a piece of clothing from Walmart, and probably not much more than bathing suits from Target. Great stores for other items, and their super stores with the groceries have some great bargains.

Excellent retort, I hope you didn't strain the brain too hard to come up with that gem. You have nothing to offer because I'm correct.

Obama has been nothing more than community organizer for big business. While you were jumping for joy at his "evolution" on gay marriage, he was busy forcing a healthcare reform bill written for big insurance companies that will do nothing to help the poor. Even Democrats are running from the ACA because they know it's a "mess," and they want to be re-elected.

You can praise "Commander Obama" all you want, but that doesn't erase the fact that the gap between the wealthy and the poor has continued to grow even while the "Party for the poor" has been in power. There's very little difference between Obama and Bush, just as there's very little difference between Democrats and Republicans. Of course, you know that seeing as how you're apparently a big-business Republican calling yourself a Democrat.

Here is your hero, Commander Obama.

Red Herring, Dingleberry. The stock market is up because consumer confidence, housing prices and demand is up.

It's not a red herring at all, it's simply facts. Even Democrats are starting to realize it...well, those with a clue. The income gap continues to grow due to the policies of Obushma and you praise him. Yeah, he's really helping the middle class/poor, D1ngleBerry. :thumb:
