Anybody started a "regulate pressure cookers" thread yet?
I mean, do we really NEED a pressure cooker to cook a deer?

Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

My Cajun Mom used to make the BEST roast in a pressure cooker. Man, I can still remember the noise the little thingy at the top would make as it was cooking. Ch Ch Ch Ch Ch Ch Ch. And, man, it would come out so tender and well seasoned and delicious. Good GAWD it was good!

Can't you achieve the same thing through searing then braising in a crockpot? I mean the roast of course...no need to ban crockpots.Cluck U wrote:Always juicy, never dry.JohnStOnge wrote:My Cajun Mom used to make the BEST roast in a pressure cooker.
