I mean, do we really NEED a pressure cooker to cook a deer?

Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

I liked my pickled asparagus and green beans. They can have my...

By the same token, anything under that much pressure needs to be regulated...cookers, compressors, and the like...

(I wonder if I'm now under surveillance for posting in this thread) :?

My Cajun Mom used to make the BEST roast in a pressure cooker. Man, I can still remember the noise the little thingy at the top would make as it was cooking. Ch Ch Ch Ch Ch Ch Ch. And, man, it would come out so tender and well seasoned and delicious. Good GAWD it was good!

I need to learn to do that before she leaves this earth.

Can't you achieve the same thing through searing then braising in a crockpot? I mean the roast of course...no need to ban crockpots.
