The Pope: Dback and Alex are a threat to Humanity

Post by dbackjon »

The Pope has again condemned same-sex marriage and on Monday warned that it is a threat to humanity.
Speaking directly to international diplomats at a New Year’s address, Pope Benedict XVI acknowledged various economic and social factors that he says affect the world today.
"Policies which undermine the family threaten human dignity and the future of humanity itself," The Pontiff said, according to Reuters.
"The family unit is fundamental for the educational process and for the development both of individuals and states," he said. "Pride of place goes to the family, based on the marriage of a man and a woman," he added.

Guy has a right to his opinion but unfortunately he's the religious leader of millions of people. Fortunately a great number of those people don't actually listen to him.

I for one, consider pedophilia a greater threat to humanity. Maybe he should tackle that one first?
Being wrong about a topic is called post partisanism - kalm

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

Thank you for your attention to this matter - UNI88

So MLK was a shrill little girl? Susan B Anthony?

Nothing shrill about wanting equality for all.

Hey, I've MET you and Alex. I've broken bread with you and Alex. I've drank with you and Alex. The Pope is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT when he says you're a thread to humanity...just not for the reasons he thinks.

Still boycotting Target Jon?
At the national level, Target is broadcasting its support for equal marriage rights with a wedding registry ad featuring two smiling men dressed in suits and bow ties holding hands and touching foreheads.
“Be Yourself, Together,” is printed in bold red lettering across the center of the advertisement, which encourages couples to build a registry that is “as unique as the two of you.”
Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder said in a statement that the ad is part of Target’s broader commitment to “diversity and inclusion.”
“At the heart of our company are core values which include Target’s long-standing commitment to create an environment where all of our team members and guests feel welcome, valued and respected,” Snyder said. “We believe our current marketing is consistent with this value.”

The untold story here is that Dback and Alex went to the Vatican, got a private audience with Benedict, and called His Holiness a douchebag.

Hence the Papal Bull: those two are a threat to humanity.

Would you date a midget? Would you marry a man with a 2" hard on? My bet is that you would treat them differently, you narrow minded bigot. :tothehand:

I am all for equal rights. Fight that good fight.

But let's not forget what lies under every denial of rights...one sees others as not deserving of equal opportunities. We happen to bundle some things up conveniently defined as "rights", but in the end, it all comes down to personal preferences.
