Question for atheists...

Since all of human cognition is basically electrical communication between neurons (according to you), why haven't we achieved computers that emulate human thinking? The fastest computer in the world will do a million billion (literally) floating point operations per second and process far more information far faster than any one person. Yet computers can't replace teachers, accountants, lawyers, or pretty much any job that isn't highly repetitive. Weren't we supposed to have super intelligent computers solving all the world's problems by now?

Does there ever come a time when we just give up on "explaining consciousness" and just go back to the dualist view of consciousness? Sure there is. After all, atheism is not dogmatic like religions is.
