SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Wrong does equal false but it does not necessarily equal "lying." I said the same thing many times during the Bush Administration when people would say things like "Bush was lying" about Iraq having stockpiles of WMDs. No, it's quite possible that Bush thought they had those stockpiles. The fact that such stockpiles were never found does not make him a liar.
Same here. Could be the administration is lying. But the fact that it turns out they were wrong about what happened does not confirm that. Just confirms that what they were saying is false.
