Here's a story on it:

Now, here's the thing: Why is it that, if government is going to give stuff that costs taxpayers money away, we should be upset that it's actually going to be given to people who PAY TAXES?
Like this from the article:
Well...maybe you are. But you know what? THE FAMILY MAKING A QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR IS PROBABLY PAYING MORE FOR IT THAN YOU ARE. And YOU can benefit from it to.But Jon Coupal with the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association asks: "If someone is coming from a family that makes a quarter-of-a-million dollars a year, and they're not checking eligibility when they're coming in the door, I think most people would wonder, 'Am I paying for this?'"
Why on EARTH would you be disturbed about people who are actually carrying the weight enjoying benefit? Why is it that you wouldn't be upset that people who are just sucking from the system get free lunch but would be upset if people who are actually PAYING for the free lunch through their taxes are getting it?
To me, if ANY government program gives stuff away EVERYONE should be able to get it. It is RIDICULOUS to say that the people who are actually PAYING FOR IT shouldn't be able to benefit from it if they want to.
