Lions are disgusting

Watching an animal planet show on them right now. Just saw the thing where the male Lion takes control of the pride and kills all the cubs. Lots of other stuff about their social behavior.

They're disgusting. If it were up to me we'd terminate them as a species. Planet would be better off without them.

And, no, I don't think the same thing about tigers. It's just that lions are really disgusting.

Lions are genetically programmed to do that... insuring that their own genes are propagated while those of thei competitors are not. Many mammals do this as well, including the great apes.

Being a proponent of how genetics shape behavior in the entire animal kingdom, I am surprised at you, JSO, but then you might have been doing something tongue-in-cheek here that I missed.

I would tend to agree that lions smell like sh!t, though.

Dude - stop watching animal planet (unless it's for those cute little meerkats - oh wait...) and start watching Disney - Simba, Animal Kingdom, Hakuna Matada etc. etc.

Although if Taco Bell came out with a Hakuna Fritada I'd be all over it...

Was watching the big screen monitor that's screwed to my Dentists ceiling above the torture chair yesterday watching a cool bow hunting show out of central Montana, and the big bull this guy throttled with an arrow, then right when the clorox type shit is poured down the root canals, it switched over to a Bose Acoustic Wave Machine infomercial.

If you order the whole nine yards, along with the five disc changer, they will throw in a free Bose radio! I know a great deal when I see one, even through the smoke of the high speed drill buzzing off the burrs after stuffing that burning magnesium crap in my tooth hole.

Would have tapped out an order right then and there, but it cost me 1,625 to get out of the dentist's office.
