China's lying, murdering, leaders, never wise up...

China summons CNN Beijing chief over commentator's remarks

BEIJING (AP) - China rejected on Thursday CNN's response to its demand for an apology over remarks made by commentator Jack Cafferty after the Foreign Ministry summoned the network's bureau chief in Beijing the night before.

The demand came amid increasing accusations in China against foreign media over allegedly biased coverage of violent anti-government protests in Tibet and across western part of the country last month.

This is just the begining....It's going to be a long, hot summer in China...

My question is....Did the Chinese really not see this coming???

I hope CNN...and who ever is next to be called to the Principal's office...do not back down...

I believe what's most shocking about the Chinese govt's behavior is not their feigned offense at the criticism, but their unethical deployment of slander campaigns against those international journalist/critics...extending to threatening their safety/life.

Enough is enough. If I were CNN, I'd open the journals and keep everything 'on the record'. China's been given too many 'passes' merely because they're the 800lb gorilla in the corner nobody wants to upset.
