Unfortunately, I'm in the Philly TV market, so I'll have to endure nonstop Hillary commercials for the next three and a half months.

Couldn't be any worse than those endless Planned Parenthood ads that that bitch Kate McGinty is running against Pat Toomey.

I don't see how McGinty has a prayer of winning. PA's going to be very close in the Presidential race so I don't see any coattails happening there. It didn't help that she did that gaffe of actually being caught on camera calling Toomey an a-hole (granted, he might very well be that, but it just never seems to come off well in a political campaign where you're trying to present yourself as the more responsible choice). It's a shame, you'd hope better people would run in PA - we have two of the worst senators in slimy Toomey and dumb as a rock Casey.

Trump press conference right now = pure gold.

He speaks directly to Russia and says, "I hope you have the 33,000 missing emails that Hillary deleted and I hope you release them."

He keeps putting the emphasis on Weiner when talking about Anthony Weiner. Says Huma would tell him all the national secrets and he's a slimeball pervert who would (I guess) tell them to chicks he picks up sending cockshots on SnapChat?

He also says Hillary is lying about TPP and will change course and pass it. I'd say he's right on that.

He says Hillary Clinton should not get security briefs.

Reporters ask him his positions on abortion and some other issues and he says, "look it up, it's all on my website." Hahah. He doesn't want to have to bother remembering all that shit.

Lastly, he challenges Hillary to hold a non-scripted news conference. He has a good point there.

Now pundits from the NYT to The Atlantic are saying Trump committed treason.

So they are saying that Hilary's personal emails weren't personal at all? They contained sensitive information? Well that could only mean that Hillary was lying about their content.

I don't mean this to be an excuse but I heard somewhere that once you become the official nominee of a major party that you then get briefed on a lot of classified information. Hillary obviously had a head start on much of this as Sec. of State and Senator. If this is true, Trump didn't get briefed until last week. So his team is probably still mapping all the backroom arrangements that we have made with various countries. That's why I take his foreign policy plan with a grain of salt.

I heard a little more on this today. 1st, the information they will get will not be top level stuff. 2nd, they will be given the information, and if any nominee asks a question, the answer will be provided to both nominees so that they ensure both have the same information. 3rd, this has not begun yet since Hillary has not officially accepted the nomination. That happens tonight.

So, whatever Trump has said about foreign policy, or has not said, doesn't really matter because he has not been briefed yet. Again, Clinton is way ahead of the curve on the information.

I actually think Donald Trump's behavior fits the definition of psychopath/sociopath much better than Hillary Clinton's does. Here's one definition:

Psychopathy (/saɪˈkɒpəθi/), also known as sociopathy (/soʊsiˈɒpəθi/), is traditionally defined as a personality disorder characterized by persistent antisocial behavior, impaired empathy and remorse, and bold, disinhibited, egotistical traits.

It's hard to say Hillary fits that like Trump does when HIllary came out of Yale Law School and went to work for the Children's Defense Fund instead of going for the big money a Yale Law School grad could've gone for. I think she has socialist tendencies and I don't like that. But she's shown over her lifetime MUCH more concern for others than Trump has. I don't agree with her "social justice" activities but, though I think they are misguided, they do reflect empathy. And she clearly isn't in his zip code when it comes to "bold, disinhibited, egotistical traits."

Otherwise, I think Trump has a serious emotional stability and maturity problem. I don't think Hillary's like that. I think she's very stable and steady with a very thick skin. She keeps her cool, at least publicly, to a much greater extent than he does. She just comes of as much more of a grown up.

BTW I was watching some of Trump's address in Colorado today. I just have to shake my head at people being attracted by that. Incoherent. Rambling. Thin skinned. And a jerk.

The good news is that if that rally is any indication they are going to let him go off the cuff. Good chance he's going to step in it because he's got NO impulse control and very little sense. Acting like an asshole at rallies like that worked for him during the Republican primaries but I'm optimistic about that hurting him in the general election. I was worried that they would try to script him and try to hide what he is. If today is any guide they're not going to do that and I look at that as good news.

It struck me because months ago I thought... and think I even posted on this board...that watching what was happening in the Republican primary made me think it was like the Republicans choosing Archie Bunker to be their nominee.
